Childhood Memory
Memory is a child walking along a seashore.
You never can tell what small pebble it will pick up and store away among its treasured things.
~Pierce Harris
Do you smell the wonderful scent of lilacs and immediately think of your mother or grandmother?
I sure do.
Certain smells evoke such powerful memories and this one is heavenly.

Whoa!! that is simply breathtaking...
How do you do that?? take my breath away??
Wonderful image and texture. Yes, this scent brings me back to my childhood too - one of my Mom's favorite flowers. You've captured it beautifully. Love your blog too. What a challenging and enjoyable project!
Very elegant image.
I really like the texture here! And a very nice quote to go with. Is there any way to send you a private message on your site? I haven't found any links. Since I don't have an OpenID account, I had to choose the google account. But this way the link to my blog doesn't show up when I'd like to comment.
Great! Now works! I'll come back later, can't wait your new photos. =)
Love lilacs, both flowers and fragrance.
the light looks really lovely here.. very nice capture.. :)
This is just so beautiful, both the image and the text.
We had two lilac bushes, one on each side of our walkway and oh I loved the smell. My mom always kept them in the house when they bloomed as well, so yes they bring back tons of wonderful memories to me. Keeping Shauna and family in my heart and prayers always...Hugs
Lovely composition and the texture is perfect for this image.

This one and the barn are my new favorites. Great images! Very lovely work, Chasity!
