I am almost hypnotically drawn to the old barns that dot our Midwest landscape. To think of their rich history....the struggles they have seen and the stories they could tell...
Wow - this is a terrific sideways shot! I've been working outside a bunch, so I had to play catch-up with your posts. I'm lovin' the textures you're using and the sunflare you caught.
I've spent some time looking through your blog - lovely and sometimes fanciful images. Yes, I love old barns, and old buildings in general - such a sense of history and stories.
Perfect picture......oh chas if you only knew how many times I have looked at old barns and thought the very same thing...."if only these walls could talk". Many prayers for Shauna and family always.......:-) Hugs
You know that I love the old barns. I am glad that you are getting some wonderful pictures of them. It seems that everyday one of them disappear from the landscape, never to be seen again, except in your pictures. I spent more time in our barn when I was growing up then I did in my bedroom. Now it is gone. It is such a pity that they are so expensive to keep up. Love You, Mom
There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is. ~DeGriff
