Withstanding the Test

I am almost hypnotically drawn to the old barns that dot our Midwest landscape.
To think of their rich history....the struggles they have seen and the stories they could tell...

I love old barns too... and yup! I wonder of the many stories they would tell, if only they could.

Wow - this is a terrific sideways shot! I've been working outside a bunch, so I had to play catch-up with your posts. I'm lovin' the textures you're using and the sunflare you caught.

I've spent some time looking through your blog - lovely and sometimes fanciful images. Yes, I love old barns, and old buildings in general - such a sense of history and stories.

Perfect picture......oh chas if you only knew how many times I have looked at old barns and thought the very same thing...."if only these walls could talk". Many prayers for Shauna and family always.......:-) Hugs

You know that I love the old barns. I am glad that you are getting some wonderful pictures of them. It seems that everyday one of them disappear from the landscape, never to be seen again, except in your pictures. I spent more time in our barn when I was growing up then I did in my bedroom. Now it is gone. It is such a pity that they are so expensive to keep up.
Love You,
Mom
