Autumn Feathers

Bittersweet October.
The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking perfect pause
between the opposing miseries
of summer and winter.
~Carol Bishop Hipps

My internet had been down more often than not this week
but I think that they finally have the kinks worked out.
Looking forward to seeing what you've been up to...
:)

I noticed your wonderful photos of barns and wanted to let you know that a friend and fellow blogger has started a new meme devoted to old barns. She does a daily photo blog as well.

it can be found here: http://bluffareadaily.blogspot.com/

Lovely autumn post ! But Ms Hipps must not have been fond of summer nor winter judging by that quote !

Visited your other recent posts too (catchin`up again) - more wonderful quotes, stories, and photos !

Hope your weekend is going well and that things are also going well with Shauna.

My internet was down too and you provided some inspiration for what to do in the meantime. Please have a look at my 'Seeking the Quiet Eye' blog.
This grass is interesting - even though it's dark, the lighting still shows up all the detail. Another great image.

I don't get here every day, but I'm always pleased and can't help but have a little smile on my face when I do get by. Such beautiful images. I love both today's and the mushrooms (toadstools) yesterday.
