A three year old child is a being who gets almost as much fun out of a fifty six dollar set of swings as it does out of finding a small green worm. ~Bill Vaughan
My Sweet Little Niece.... It's nearly impossible to get a photo of her when she knows that you are taking one. What a little rascal.
A cute little rascal.

Sun Soaking
Let us dance in the sun, wearing wildflowers in our hair. ~Susan Shutz
We have had the most amazing autumn.... Most days from September to now have been sunny and in the 70's or 80's.
This is practically unheard of. I've never known a nicer fall in all my life.
Every day for 2 months I've been saying "This may be our last nice day of the season"
and the next day has proven just as beautiful.
But today we have taken our turn.
It has been rainy and in the 50's.
But I'm thankful for all the glorious days we were blessed with.
This picture is of my little Wildflowers taking in the last nice day.
my first attempt using an action in photoshop~ that's fun stuff!

Carter in the Corn
There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million. ~Walt Streightiff
Not my typical photo blog post..... but it sure made me smile.
This is my sister's little fella lying in a giant box of corn. We had a field trip to the pumpkin patch and got to take Shauna's little ones with us.
It was a fun-filled...sun-shining...heart-warming kind of day.

Sisterhood
What's the good news if you haven't a sister to share it with? ~Jenny Devries
One more sisters post...... but this time it's about different sisters~ my daughters.
They were all dressed up fancy schmancy in their tutu skirts to take Shauna out to lunch yesterday. I'm not very good or confident to take photos of people~ so~ I left my comfort zone and am including people pictures. plus they looked too sweet to not capture the moment.
I want to give a big thanks to all of you who wished my sister a happy birthday yesterday. It nearly made me teary. and I'm not a crier.
I treasure every moment that I get to spend with my sister. I thank God for every day we have together as she battles this terrible cancer.

Heroes
My beautiful sweet sister will be having surgery this morning to remove cancer from her spine. She has been battling this terrible disease for a year now. You can read more of her story here and here.
She continues to be a ray of sunshine~ with laughter always near her.
She is a wonderful example of faith and courage.
She is my hero.
I love you sweet sister and I lift my prayers up for you~
There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is. ~DeGriff
