I love that you chose to photograph roses that are so fully open and almost beginning to go ragged. Still they have so much beauty and even more character captured that way. Very real, and I like that! :)
These are beautiful roses Chas, I do hope they are close to or part of your home....love them. Prayers pouring out from my heart for Shauna and family, so happy she is home...much love sweetie...:-)Hugs
I love the tumbling roses in the first shot. I had a couple of beautiful climbing roses at my last house but only one, in a pot, at this house! I think I'm going to have to figure out a place for a few more. They're so lovely and I love the gentle old-fashioned shape of these blooms.
when i scrolled down through this post, only the bottom half of the first photo was showing, and before i scrolled back up to see the whole thing, it almost looked like those flowers were not real, rather painted roses on a wood floor or something. i immediately thought, "oh, that's a gorgeous floor!"
There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is. ~DeGriff

Super pics!
Beautiful roses. I like seeing them in their natural environment. Enjoyed the poem, too!
