Breakfast on the Side Porch

Early morning cheerfulness can be extremely obnoxious.
~William Feather

I like to wake up slowly.....calmly...and with much deliberation.

Looks like a nice breakfast to wake up to.

Borrowed from another blog: "if we were meant to pop out of bed in the morning, we'd all sleep in a toaster!".

: )

great quote. i remember as a freshman in high school, my twin sister's and my older sister who was a senior had many friends who would give us a hard time because we always came to school bright-eyed and bushy tailed... hyper and giddy. they had matured to an age where coming to school with zest was not quite cool. we eventually learned. that cheerfulness was obnoxious to the older crowd. but now i'd love to have that spunk and vigor back again... no matter what the cool kids say!
