A Bit Monet

When my daughter was about 7 years old, she asked me one day what I did at work.
I told her I worked at the college~ that my job was to teach people how to draw.
She stared at me, incredulous, and said "You mean they forget?"

~these are wonderful and ever so true...i do think we tend to "forget" what once lay within us..we get so busy sometimes, days passing so quickly...then it hits us and we remember the things we once found greatness in...beautiful both picture and words...warm wishes and brightest blessings~

Beautiful effect on the water lilies (I have a bunch in my pond - they fascinate me with their shapes and colours).

Love the quote from your daughter - out of the mouths of 'babes' ... I've always maintained that regimentation and forced adherence to 'convention' in school eventually represses the imagination in most of us.

It's sad that the child in us gets lost so easily ... this is certainly beautiful.

It is probably on your blog somewhere... I peeked around to see... but what are you using to edit your photos? The are wonderful.
