Wildwood Flower

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately,
to front only the essential facts of life,
and see if I could not learn what it had to teach,
and not,
when I came to die,
discover that I had not lived.
~Henry David Thoreau

I came upon this wild flower in the forest.
I don't know it's name.
But I thought it was lovely.

and some interesting bokeh came forth like little fairies in the forest

I try to look at every wildflower I come upon, knowing no other eyes may see what God has made to bloom that day. Really lovely, Chas.

I've always liked that thought by Thoreau ... you've shown us the beauty we so easily overlook.

Exquisite image. I like the colors and the softness. You might try a tight crop. Bet you'll like it. It would make this fine image even better.
