Apple Moon
There is nothing in the world more peaceful than apple leaves with an early moon.
~Alice Meynell
I've been too down~hearted to post my regular cheerful flowers and other happy things
so I thought I would be left with no photo to post.
However....tonight I had to go outside in the dark to close a door
on our outbuilding that I left open.
The most majestic moon was mingling among mysterious little clouds.
Even though I don't have the proper lens to get a good moon shot~
I still felt moved by the moment and thought that this would be
appropriate and fitting for my state of being.

Thank you for your well wishes and prayers for my sister.
She still waits in the hospital for the right surgeon to be available.
He has to remove more cancer from around her spine.
It's a long and risky procedure.
Continued prayers would be a helpful gift.

Chasity, all the best wishes for your sister's recovery. And this is such a lovely image.
I will keep your sister in my prayers, you as well to have the courage and the strength to help her endure all she is going through.
I love your photo, if you're sad that's 100% understandable and if it shows through in your photos there's not a single thing wrong with that. We all express our emotions in varying forms. What's healthy is to continue to express them in my opinion. Hugs sent your way and God bless.
Oh Dear One, I love the photo and then when you mentioned your mood I knew it was about Shauna. I am keeping both of you in my prayers and thoughts. I wish you both much strength for the upcoming weeks. hugs to you. God bless.

Love this picture of the moon and its somber glow:) But, I'm sorry that you are feeling down...I know you must be filled with worry & fear for your sister...I'll be wishing for good news to lift your spirits. Hugs and prayers for Shauna, always:)
Continued prayers, for sure!
I got some quarter moon shots from last Sat night - I just need to figure out how & when to post
I appreciate your honesty, not every day is a bowl of cherries. Shauna continues to be in my prayers, as do you.
Remembering your sister...and you!
Your post today, both picture and words, was beautiful.
I do pray that your sister will get the needed care and quickly.I also pray that you will find comfort in the care and love of others as well as the love of God.
Blessings,Ruth
Your shot reminded me of "The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas". I'm sure that emotionally you're feeling tossed about on stormy seas - we'll pray that He who controls everything will keep you and Shauna and guide you through these stormy seas.
Its a beautiful shot...like a painting.
I don't know you but I'll send up a prayer for your sister. Hope everything turns out alright.
Oh no Chasity I'm so sorry to hear that news about Shauna - I'll keep remembering her in my prayers too.
My He that gives the light to that moon uphold you and give you the strength so that you can be a real encouragement to your sister in these days of trial.
(((hugs))) Rosie
Sorry things have got you feeling down. I hope the surgery goes well, and the prognosis improves. My thoughts are with you and your family take care. AJ
my thoughts and prayers are with you.
wishing for a speedy recovery.
I do hope the surgeon has been found now. The moon calls to me when I'm down and after some time with it I feel refreshed, I hope you feel a little more lighthearted now too. :)
