Glorious Blessing

Our roots say we're sisters.
Our hearts say we're friends.

*****

Bless you my darling, and remember~ you are always in the heart.
Oh, tucked so close there is no chance of escape~of your sister.
~Katherine Mansfield

I didn't know these were growing in my garden until this morning.
Some people may call them weeds....I call them amazing.

The bright shining light reminded me of my sister's spirit~
always shining.

Today is her birthday~
It would mean a lot to me if you could drop by here and wish her happy birthday.

You are so sweet. My sister is my best friend and each of these quotes embodies the feeling of friendship and sisterhood so well. Happy birthday to your sis!

Really? Weeds - I can't imagine something so pretty and colorful being deemed a weed, but I guess if it goes where you don't want it to, then it's a weed.

your weed or, morning glory, is beautiful. i love that background you chose.

from your post i gather such closeness with your sister, Shauna. she's beautiful. i think she would pass as a twin to Lee Lee Sobieski. when she beats this cancer she can double in a movie with Lee. may God watch over her during this difficult journey. my heart is with you and Shauna. blessings to you and your family.
