Mosies
Every day may not be good
But there's something good in every day.
Like this milkweed pod~
They take over the garden and
spread their little unwanted seeds everywhere
But they are so fun to open up and throw into the wind.
Shauna used to call these seeds "Mosies" when she was a baby.
And once she said it~ it was true.

WOW! I love this blog! Your photo are just amazing!
Your photo makes me want to grab some and throw them to the wind and watch them sail! I don't think I've ever seen a milkweed pod before, Chas, but they are very, very tempting Mosies. ;-)

Sheila
Magical! You are so very talented!
You find beauty in the most wonderful places
I smiled knowing Shauna named these tiny mosies....always praying for Shauna....:-) Hugs
I remember these from a child. Haven't seen one for years.
Such great details and tones and light in this image.
Gorgeous capture Chas ! One of my favourite 'weeds'. Ours have been distributed by the wind now, but I did capture some when they were glistening in the sun. Nice memory of Shauna naming them - I hope things have been going a little better since the Hawaii trip !
They gave you the chance for a great photograph Chas.
Have a great weekend.

Weeds can be beautiful, too! And what a sweet memory to go along with them...Shauna as a baby calling them "mosies"...love it:)
These are so beautiful..aren't they?!? What a stunning image!
Very nice! I'll certainly pray for Shauna... God bless her!
So Very beautiful. Love the texture . Shauna is in my prayers.
Spent several days last week shooting milkweed. It is such a wonderful subject!! Unfortunately, it was also a very windy week :-( but I did end up getting a couple okay ones. This one is just fantastic!
