Lovely vintage look today Chas and a perfect quote from Emily. I can even remember my granddad using a camera a bit like this in the 70's.

I was just checking out Hermann on the map this afternoon. My sister vacationed there w/ some friends last year & visited one or two vineyards. She said I'd love it there!

I love the photo too. Wow.
I was in Germany as a small child while my Dad did part of his tour there . Then back to Canada as a small child. I remember the tanks and just things. The war was way way over but they still needed something there and not sure what it was. He took it too his grave at 58 in a head on car accident.
