As Shadows Shorten

Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow.
~Swedish Proverb

Thank you so much for the kindness and encouragement you have given me
over the past several days.
I feel like saying Thank you isn't nearly enough....
but it's what I have to offer.

Shauna is home now~
and it is a beautiful thing to see her in her own lovely home
instead of in that cold sterile hospital.

And though we were all fallen low the other day~
we are recovering and getting new focus.

Shauna is by no means sitting back and giving up.

The hospital did all they could and now she is continuing the
healing process at home.

But she is still very hopeful that once the swelling goes down...
she can once again aggressively fight this terrible disease.

Hope is a beautiful light.

A thank you for a prayer, or a kind thought? I hope you know that those are given from the heart without any expectation in return.
Chas, treat this time as a gift from G-d that you and your family can share with Shauna and her children. Stow away these precious moments so they may sustain you and her family, in the years to come.
My thoughts are with you and your family. Peace be with you all. AJ

I left you a message on your other blog, sweetie pie, but I am leaving you one here, too. Warm hugs to you and your whole family and prayers for healing as well. And you know you are welcome. XO

Each day is a gift from God for all of us. I know people who are here today who didn't think they would be and others who are gone that I thought would outlive us all. I wish for you days of love and laughter. Share lots of hugs and smiles.

Patience in the cold times. A good photo that tells us to wait for the warmth. Well done. My prayers are with you and your family.

My prayers for your Shauna as she continues this journey. I understand where she is coming from as after I was diagnosed and treated I said if I went out of remission I would trade quality for quantity and quit treatment. I'm glad she gets to be home. Take care.

Hello,
I stumbled upon this blog while looking through other blogs, their posts, their favorite blogs, etc...
Have not had the chance to read about Shauna yet but from the post I just read, she is slowly releasing something negative from her body so she may be healthy again. There will be prayers from our family.
Always take care,
Valerie
