Gentleness Inside

Sweet is the memory of distant friends~
Like the mellow rays of the departing sun,
it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.

"Sweet is the memory..." So true when it comes to friends for me...those I love best are far away. Great shot!

Memories are sweet and yes sometimes sad.May you find comfort each day in God's love.I say this even as I struggle with sadness and loneliness.

Beautiful picture. Love the softness. Love looking at all the pictures on your site.
Thank you for your comment on mine. You see, I am a big sister too--trying to help my sister who is so sick with Lupus. I am beginning to wonder if she is ever going to have good days again. Us big sisters want to fix things. I keep telling her we either believe what we say we believe or it was all just a nice story. I got to believe in my Lord even in the worst of times.
I do pray for you and will continue to.
I like this quote by Elizabeth Elliott--Sometimes life is so hard you can only do the next thing whatever that is just do the next thing. God will meet you there. Brenda

I never knew Shauna other than through your blog, but I think you summed her up well with 'Gentleness Inside'. A wonderful quote and a gorgeous shot.

Easter has come earlier for some than for others, but it is coming for all of us.
