Would love to see the "after" of this hydrant....I love the old, and think how a beautiful new red paint would renew its life. Big Hugs and many prayers for Shauna and family.....:-) Hugs
This is SO true - we have been in a drought for the last three years - finally this was the Year of Rain. Wait til you see my hydrangeas! (Ella, my poochie said she loves this photo, too.)
There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is. ~DeGriff

Boy, that quote is very poignant, and I love the shot of that hydrant. Good work, Chas!

What a great photo...and the quote really makes you stop & think:)
I never paid that much attention to a fire hydrant. And this one is a lovely shade of pink-ish. I wonder if the paint peeled from dogs peeing on it?
love the peeling paint and the blue background. Nice quote too.
oh, wow!
fabulous colors!
I like the whimsical feel to this.
