Aged to Perfection

Some people, no matter how old they get, never lose their beauty~
they merely move it from their faces into their hearts.
~Martin Buxbaum

I love how my white hydrangeas turn into the most glorious pinks as they are growing old.
Isn't it splendid that it is prettier when it's older than when it is young?

Dreamy and gorgeous macro. The quote says it all, as we age we get more in touch with our inner self and that beauty reveals itself to the world. great post.

Very pretty, and I like roses when they are full blown and when the petals are just falling off. As a matter of fact, I took quite a few shots for a post a while back. I need to post them!

Sheila :-)

Wise words...Buxbaum's & yours, Chas... We could use more of considering ourselves prettier as we grow older. :o) That pink tinge of the hydrangea makes my heart sing... Happy Day ((HUGS))

Very nice - love the soft focus and dof.

The same is true of trilliums - although they're lovely when snow white, they are beautiful when they turn pink before they fade away.

I love that quote -- and I think I'll adopt the white hydrangea as my theme flower!

Love your blog. Your photos are so good and your quotes so perfectly appropriate.
