Counting

Count the garden by the flowers
never by the leaves that fall;
Count your life with smiles
and not the tears that roll.

I found these old metal numbers hanging on the telephone line right by our outbuilding.
I have never noticed them in the 5 years that I've lived here.
Isn't it funny how a camera opens your eyes to so many things?

Wonderful post! Words to live by indeed. Awesome photo to go with the quote... do you first pick the quote and then take the photo or find the quote after you take the photo? Just curious is all. :-) Have a fantastic day!

I'm finding this 365 day project has me looking at all sorts of things in a new light. Totally get it!

That is so true...when looking through the lens of the camera, you see so much more.

Enjoyed this post!

What a fun, creative shot. It's funny the things we find that we usually just don't even notice!

Looks like not too many others noticed them either but you got a great shot of them.

I love these old numbers Chas, funny how you hadn't noticed them before. Many prayers for Shauna, big hugs.....:-)

You're so right about not noticing some things we may have looked at but not 'seen' for so long. Nice shot - and great reminder.

Peace for you, Shauna and your families.

Ditto Rick (and you), the lens really makes you open your eyes to different things, perspectives and "stuff" around the place
