this is so lovely and yes I can imagine a baby. I can't believe you are new to lenses as you seem so at home with the camera and your wonderful pictures, what camera and lens do you use out of interest?
Adorable photo and yes I can just imagine the scent and softness of this gown on a precious child.
I feel that we all need to be loved and accepted especially as a child, then as we grow older we must learn to love ourselves so that we in turn can give it away... the circle of life.
There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is. ~DeGriff

Oh so sweet:)
I really like this photo. It's a near perspective and I love the white against the background. So beautiful.

That first quote defines the needs of the human race! People start going down the wrong track when they don't receive what they need!

You commented at my blog. Thank you. And I came to yours, and I'm so happy to see you are a photographer. I love your pictures!!
If you could give a point and shoot camera photographer a tip at making better pics, what would it be?
babies are the most precious gift of all and i can most certainly see a little one swaddled in this baby gown, being held by her mother. great photo.
