Flying High

You haven't seen a tree until you've seen its shadow from the sky.
~Amelia Earhart

My daughter Spunky's 2nd favorite ride from our vacation day to the theme park.
I think they rode it 7 times.
It was exhilarating.

The texture turned this one into a work of art. Beautiful.

Chas,
What a great picture, I can see women in sun hats twirling parasols, and the sound of a calliope playing nearby nearby. I really love this image, and what it allows me to imagine, rather than to see. AJ

I really like your blend on this. Looks like an old fashioned poster for the fair. Superb.

Just spent the last while getting caught up on your posts - what a treasure ! And it looks like you had a very 'productive' vacation also, judging by your photos. Nice work!

I rode on a similar ride, but it wasn't nearly as pretty. And I couldn't stop laughing my fool head off. Apparently, that is what I do when I am scared out of my wits.
This is a beautiful photograph - the texture really adds to it!
