Focused

Feed your faith and your fears will starve to death.

Thank you so much for all your care and concern for my sister Shauna lately.
She is doing all right.
She has a lot of pain and weakness in her leg
and her back is having trouble
healing from the surgery.

She is on a different experimental chemo...and of course it doesn't make her feel well.
Putting poisons in our body will always have some negative effects.

Cancer is such a powerful and controlling word.
To me~and my family I'm sure~
there was a certain life before cancer
and life after cancer.

It is that defining.

But Shauna has a wonderful and amazing Faith.
Her priorities are right~
God First
Family Next
and the small stuff isn't sweated.

Her exciting news is that her husband is taking her on a trip to Hawaii
starting Wednesday.

They will spend two glorious weeks in this beautiful place.

I told her she won't want to come back!

It will be nice to just relax and enjoy life
and momentarily forget about all their cares and worries.

It will be healing for the soul for sure.

Thanks for your continued prayers and well wishes.

Chas

I do pray that as bad as the chemo is,it will take the cancer away and restore her health.
Cancer sure has changed our life,BUT God is still the same.
Blessings,Ruth

Cancer has a way of making anyone pause who has come in contact with the monster that is for sure. Some ashes can turn to beauty we just have to look for them and I belive your words speak. I read it and feel.
Thats what is happening right now within my sibling fold. Ashes are turning to beauty in a way. Cancer I pray will leave her body, making her fresh and new again. Prayers are being said for you all.
Thanks for the update.
Sleep well my friend
Much Love

Loved the focus in the image Chasity but isn't it great that Shauna has her eyes focused on the Lord as she battles this illness. I hope that she and her husband have a wonderful trip.
