Sun Soaking

Let us dance in the sun,
wearing wildflowers in our hair.
~Susan Shutz

We have had the most amazing autumn....

Most days from September to now have been
sunny
and in the 70's or 80's.

This is practically unheard of.
I've never known a nicer fall in all my life.

Every day for 2 months I've been saying
"This may be our last nice day of the season"

and the next day has proven just as beautiful.

But today we have taken our turn.

It has been rainy and in the 50's.

But I'm thankful for all the glorious days we were blessed with.

This picture is of my little Wildflowers taking in the last nice day.

my first attempt using an action in photoshop~
that's fun stuff!

Gorgeous photo, I like the vintage feel and it seems very suitable for the subject and season. I so enjoy visiting your blog. Though I don't always comment, I often visit to calm myself down at the end of a stressy day. I love your work. Thank you for sharing it.

Stunning photo of your precious little wildflowers! I love the way you captured the true essence of fall and the way the girls are sitting is totally adorable! Awesome shot Chas!

It's been unbelievable weather here as well. I got a tad bit concerned when I awoke to small flakes cascading ever so slowly from the sky... but they disappeared once the sun came out!

Have a fantastic weekend!

I love this edit Chas - the colours of the fabrics and the designs the girls are wearing too just makes it look so good.

We were much the same here. Much nicer than average for our time of year - then we had two days of rain and it spit snow off and on all day yesterday. Yep our winter is really coming.

Love this photo! It makes me think back to my childhood days and playing with the neighbor girl.
