This is a scripture that I have to remember often.
Bad things happen to good people every day.

There are times when I feel like I could fall to my knees
questioning "why"

or scream that it isn't fair~

but I am reminded through His Holy Word
that Christians do suffer while here on this earth.

We are never promised a perfect life here~

We are promised a perfect life in Heaven.

You've depicted this beautifully ... it's so much easier for me to question why the rain is so but accept the sun when it shines on both. God bless you with peace and comfort.

Oh Chas I have had to live through the passing of my husband, my son, an chronic illness with my beautiful daughter and breast cancer and not once have I been angry with God. In fact if anything I am so thankful that God is first in my life, he has seen me through everything and I am so blessed that he is my best friend, if he approves them I know I am okay. Many prayers for sweet Shauna and big hugs to you.....:-)

...and we do know that all things work together for good to those who love God...according to His purpose. He promises that, no matter how hard it gets here. For those who reject God, there is no redeeming factor at all in suffering. Blessings as you struggle.

I heard a wonderful word of encouragement today in a sermon - God never said he'd take our hand and lead us around the valley of the shadow of death, but THROUGH it - and he provides comfort.

Your scripture selections go hand-in-hand with your beautiful photos, which are a reflection of God's handiwork.

Amen! Sometimes it's through our hardships that we are able to bless others and show our faith most clearly!
