Winter Wonderland Series
#4
Hydrangea in Frost

There are some things you learn best in calm,
and some in storm.
~Willa Cather

I've shown these hydrangeas in various stages....

perfection in the summer
rustling in the fall
and now....stilled by winter

They are magnificent flowers that can teach so much
about the changes we go through...{{often so quickly}}...
and how to keep our beauty and hope no matter what stage
we find ourselves.

I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed new year
and resolve to be better~
in whatever you are striving.

These have all been beautiful, but this is my favorite. What an inspiring thought to keep striving for the beauty of Christ to shine through the darkness of our days to others no matter what storms we are suffering through. I love you sweet sister.

Hi Chas - I'm back from all the family visits over Christmas. Just spent some time going through your posts and looking at all your wonderful photos - your series is just beautiful.

What was even more beautiful was reading the news about Shauna - although your post had me expecting bad news at the start. So encouraging to hear that, and what a blessing she was able to be home for Christmas !

I pray that 2011 will bring the healing you all so desire ! God continue to bless all of you.
