Sisterhood

What's the good news if you haven't a sister to share it with?
~Jenny Devries

One more sisters post......
but this time it's about different sisters~
my daughters.

They were all dressed up fancy schmancy in their tutu skirts to take Shauna out to lunch yesterday.
I'm not very good or confident to take photos of people~
so~
I left my comfort zone and am including people pictures.
plus they looked too sweet to not capture the moment.

I want to give a big thanks to all of you who wished my sister a happy birthday yesterday.
It nearly made me teary.
and I'm not a crier.

I treasure every moment that I get to spend with my sister.
I thank God for every day we have together as she battles this terrible cancer.

I love so many things about this picture (the steps behind the girls, the lighting, etc.), but best of all, I think I love the sweetness captured.

I just love this photo...so very sweet n innocent. Don't know what I would do without my own sister myself. I have two daughters and 4 grand daughters, so sisters are a big part of my life. May the healing hands of our Lord be placed on your sister. Keep the Faith and be strong!

A wonderfully cute photo! Adorable!

There's 14 years difference between my sister & I, so we didn't do a lot of that... but my daughter & sister did, there's 19 months difference in age between them!
Great shot

Gorgeous photo of your two girls sharing secrets. It's interesting you opted for a mono shot - I think that works really well to focus on what's important - their hands and faces.

OH CHASITY,
THIS IS THE MOST PRECIOUS PICTURE. I HOPE YOU ENLARGE IT AND HANG IT ON THE WALL. YOU ARE SUCH A SPECIAL SISTER...SHAUNA KNOWS HOW LOVED SHE IS. I WAS LISTENING TO ELIZABETH EDWARDS TALK TONIGHT AND SHE SAID SHE DOESN'T WORRY WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS...SHE DOES WHAT SHE WANTS WITH EACH DAY, (thinking of her children first)...SURROUNDED BY HER FAMILY THAT SHE LOVES AND THEY LOVE HER. THEY HAVE TOLD HER SHE IS IN STAGE 4 WITH NO CURE BUT SHE SAID IT WILL NOT RUN HER LIFE. AMY DID WHAT SHE WANTED UNTIL SHE COULD NO MORE....PRAYERS THAT SHAUNA KEEPS MOVING AND CURES ARE FOUND.
LOVE YOU CHASITY
HUGS

An amazing shot, I think that you are going into a new area of interest here.

Enlarge it, and have it framed, it speaks of giggles, and secrets, and so much innocence.

So sorry to hear about your sister, my thoughts, and prayers are with you.

Your fears about people photography are groundless - this is a beauty. I think sisters have a special bond between them - I see it with my 2 sisters, and my wife and her sister. Prayers and blessings for you both!

Really precious photo, Chasity:) I think you did a great job capturing their giggles & joy! I don't have a sister...that's just one reason having 2 daughters and knowing they've "got each other's back" is so special to me:)
