Unexpected

Live frugally on surprise.
~Alice Walker

We had such a warm delicious fall this year.
Last Friday it was 60 degrees.

Last Saturday it was 13 degrees.
I do believe winter has settled in.

Yes, winter has definitely set in. I'm finding that out the hard way with two girls in tow!

I love the contrast of the flowers in the snow ~

Love your space here!

Great juxtaposition of the rose and the snow of winter. Seems more like winter crashed rather than settled in !

Welcome to winter! I love your photo, very creative with the contrast of the red flowers against the crisp, white snow. (Something I'm tired of shoveling!). Ahhh but when I'm back out shoveling I can put this photo in my mind and make the job... well less of a chore. Thanks Chas. :-)

Beautiful shot of the roses against the snow. We did have a gorgeous, warm autumn and I miss it already.
