Autumn Feathers
Bittersweet October.
The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking perfect pause
between the opposing miseries
of summer and winter.
~Carol Bishop Hipps
My internet had been down more often than not this week
but I think that they finally have the kinks worked out.
Looking forward to seeing what you've been up to...

I hope that with your internet down you have been able to spend more time outside! I love the "Autumn Feathers."
I've been seeing these around everywhere. I love this photo!
I noticed your wonderful photos of barns and wanted to let you know that a friend and fellow blogger has started a new meme devoted to old barns. She does a daily photo blog as well.
it can be found here: http://bluffareadaily.blogspot.com/
Lovely autumn post ! But Ms Hipps must not have been fond of summer nor winter judging by that quote !
Visited your other recent posts too (catchin`up again) - more wonderful quotes, stories, and photos !
Hope your weekend is going well and that things are also going well with Shauna.
Hello Chas, what a lovely photo. I love how you find these beautiful subjects......Hope Shuana is enjoying her trip, praying for her daily.......:-0) Hugs
Magnificent photo Chas! You have an extremely creative eye, I love your shots.
My internet was down too and you provided some inspiration for what to do in the meantime. Please have a look at my 'Seeking the Quiet Eye' blog.
This grass is interesting - even though it's dark, the lighting still shows up all the detail. Another great image.
another beautiful shot of something so simple, a wonderful capture and I love your quotes
Clever caption, "Autumn Feathers"...as always, so appropriately creative!
There are so many things I love about autumn...but winter following is not one of them:) Pretty picture! Hope you don't have any more "computer woes".
I don't get here every day, but I'm always pleased and can't help but have a little smile on my face when I do get by. Such beautiful images. I love both today's and the mushrooms (toadstools) yesterday.
Exquisite detail and light. Love this!
Hoping your internet stays up now. :0) Love the photo! And love that quote! how true!
